500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - thank you very much!]. Clear, dark brown colour with ruby glimmer and small, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Fruity hoppy and slightly roasty dark malty aroma, notes of red berries, a touch of coffee and cocoa. Taste is minimally sweet, fruity hoppy and mildly roasty dark malty, notes of red berries, hints of cold coffee, a touch of cocoa, minimalyl metallic overtones; minimally watery texture. OK.

500ml bottle: BB17th Jan 2020. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 30th June 2019. Thin wispy head on a weak and thin dark body. Thought this watery and lacking in depth for a Stout. Mild chocolate notes but no oomph at all.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - deep brown with amber chinks. Thin but attractive head. Nose - caramel, light tar and a hint of nuts. Almost more treacle than molasses. Taste - treacle sponge then toffee that's slightly burnt. Palate - medium bodied, sweet and crunchy through the middle. Dry crunchy finish. Overall - good stuff.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 27.09.2018) 2018-08 getrunken. Dieses cremige Stout mit seinen vollen Schokoladen u d sanfte Cappuccino-Aroma macht mit seiner tollen Balance echt Spaß im Glas.
