Cask @ St Ives Booze on the Ouse festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, malt and hops. Nice fruity and bitter finish.

Bottle from Darts Farm. Deep reddish brown almost black colour with a thin tan head. Aroma has roasted sweet malts. Taste mostly sweet, with a slight bitter roasted finish. Thinnish body.

Cask at the Front, Falmouth, 25/04/16. Light black with a moderate tan head. Nose is light roast, toffee, faint spice, cocoa notes. Taste comprises light charr, cocoa powder, toffee, hint of dark fruit. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate stout.

On gravity at Swindon BF 30/10/08. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate and earthy hops. Easy drinking, with flavours of coffee, dark fruit and a hint of caramel, with a decent, bitter finish. very good.
