Onze India Pale Ale maken we door aromahop toe te voegen aan een frisse pale ale. Brouwers IPA is bloemig en fruitig voor een mooie balans.

Bottle from a local AH. Aroma is sweetish malt with caramel, floral hop (extract?) and some sweet ripe orange. Flavour is fairly sweet with a decent medium bitter. Body is medium. Not a bad beer but pretty lame IPA, sweet with a floral hop profile that makes me think extract was used (though I could be biased).

Unclear golden. At LBS. Caramel, lightly hopped. Ok stuff, not really an IPA though.

33cl bottle from Albert Heijn. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, citrus fruit hop. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a light, crisp, fresh, light sweet, mineral, fruity, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Great value for money.

33cl bottle from Albert Heijn Duinenwater supermarket in Knokke. F: medium, egg-white, quick diminishing. C: deep gold, hazy. A: orange, mellow fruity, bit pine and caramel. T: medium malty base, vaguely citrus, bit pine, decent yet not harmonic bitterness, soft carbonation, not very for the style but what to expect from beer brewed for supermarkets.

Bottle from AH, rotterdam. Bright orange color, hazed, bubbly white head. Light caramel malts, lots of citrus, orange. Traces of bread and mineral. Taste light sour, tart, bitter, a bit salty. Finish is dry, lemony, alcoholic. A simple ipa, crisp, zesty, not bad.

Bottle. Deep golden color. Nice, slightly herbal citric aroma. Moderately hopped flavor, with hints of vennel and licorice. Malty sweetish, thinnish. Milky. Disappointing aftertaste.

Tight white head stayed on an unclear dark orange body. Orange & hoppy aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the palate with a clean dry back. Bitter pithy tastes of orange, citrus, hops & a tangy finish.
