BrewDog Pale ale is a classic west coast pale ale, paying tribute to the beers like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale which inspired us to start up our brewery, albeit at a slightly more sessionable ABV. BrewDog Pale Ale focusses on a very heavy hop dosing in the whirlpool which gives a slightly different hop impact than a heavily dry-hopped beer with the hop character slightly more subtle on the nose but deeper intertwined into the light and malty backbone of the new beer.

Bottle shared at work. Golden pour, white head. Nose is grapefruit, grass, floral notes, vaguely oxidized. Taste is moderately bitter, showing citrus zest, light honey, floral notes and pine. Closes with a dry finish, has a light, but decent-enough body for the ABV. Surprisingly alright, even though I didn't expect much from this tbh.

Lattina. Un arco olfattivo dominato dal luppolo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is understated floral-ish hop with grainy malt, light notes of citrus and pine. Flavour is mild sweetish and moderate bitter. Body is light. Decent beer but underhopped for an American Pale Ale, drinks more like a Golden Ale.

0,33 l can from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! BB date is a little bit over the top. Cloudy dark golden in the glass, nearly two finger white foamy head. Pale dry grain, caramel, some sweet citrus on the nose. Taste has more honey with some citrus, increasing dry pale grain with some bitterness and black tea. Below average carbonation. Nice standard Pale Ale.

Can thanks to Silke. Amber with a frothy, white head. Aroma a mix of orange peel, caramel and bread crumbs. Taste is bittersweet with a mild citric bitter twist at the finish. Body to the light side of medium but still chewy enough, moderate watery texture. Easygoing and modestly refreshing. Good character for a low alcohol choice. Pleasant.

# 4232; 6/2024. Fruity and citrus aroma. Murky gold body; persistent off-white head. Fruity, zesty, biscuit, piney. Good beer, it reminds me more of a British Golden Ale than an APA. 0,33 l, bottle, Getränkemarkt, Tübingen, Swabia, Germany.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy dark yellow/orange sporting a proper white head. Aroma of malts, pine and restrained citrus fruits. Taste follows aroma plus caramel and minerals. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Easy drinking Pale Ale. Nothing to complain or get excited about.
