On tap at Mikkeller Bar, Berlin. Shared with little Dina. Clear golden, small off-white head. Light grainy aroma, bready, very light floral and herbal touch. Drinkable, quite crisp, thin, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Flavour is bready, not too sweet, light herbal bitterness. Light finish.

Draft - Brewdog Friedrichslain - merci Philippe.

0.5 l can from 'Craftbeershop.com', as 'Schönramer Lager Hell', best before December 2024. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy and a bit fruity-floral aroma of grains, fresh grass and light lemon peel. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and moderately fruity-floral taste of grains, vanilla, fresh grass and some lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Good Helles, fairly crisp and fresh.

Bottle. Clear golden, white head. Doughy, bready aroma. Sweet bready and malty flavour. Really quite sweet with just enough earthy hops to balance.

0,5 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Clear light golden with a small one finger white head in the glass. Grainy grassy aroma on a soft level. Taste starts with a soft grainy bitterness, some caramel. Mid carbonation. Little bit more bitterness in the second part. Okay, nothing wrong, easy drinker.

Perfectly light golden helles. Good medium stable 1cm head. Typical noble hops nose. Grassy, herbal, bread and a tad floral. Good carbonation, medium bodied, well rounded. Nice lingering hop presence. One of the better upper Bavarian helles.

50cl bottle from Getränke Winkler in Marquartstein, Germany. F: medium, white, almost good retention. C: pale gold, clear. A: malty, floral, bit bready, light hoppy. T: medium malty base, light bready, weak hoppy, medium carbonation, ok for the style, partially enjoyed as bit boring beer for me.
