330ml bottle from Bierothek in Bamberg. Bright golden body. White tophead, Fair lacing. Smell is pale malty sweetness. Grainy malty flavours, sweet, notes of herbs and grass. Malt driven ending as well. Easy to drink. Rather sweet and anonymous (Grand tasting at the balcony, Fässla, Bamberg 12.10.2014).

Sehr hellgelbe Farbe, angenehm mild-hopfig-blumiger Geruch. Der Antrunk ist herb-süßlich, schön vollmundig-süffig. Zum Hauptteil wird diese blumig-süßliche Note etwas intensiver. Der Nachgeschmack ist angenehm mild-süßlich, leicht hopfenblumig-frisch und angenehm herb.

(Draught at Café Stadler, Berlin, 26 July 2014) Pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, cereal, hay and grass. Malty taste with notes of bread, hay, cereal, hints of vanilla and a gentle grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Nothing special, but well balanced and tasty. Enjoyable.

Bottled (from Bier Deluxe). Pale yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is grains, some floral and sweet notes along with some herbs. Flavour is mild cornlike sweetness, some floral and grassy notes along with a grainy finish.

Head: white, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: pale yellow and clear.
Aroma: faint hops (minty), malty/bready, some sourness. Taste: some malt sweetness balanced by equally faint hop bitterness. Refreshing, weak, no off-flavours. A ”normal” helle.

Thanks to bierjurgen for introducing me to this.This is an easy drinker, and refreshing. Nothing outstading other than it’s smooth character. Delicious, taste and aroma of malt, hay, spring meadow. This could easily become my regular.
