33cl bottle at home (27 VI 2021), as Kompaan Bocks. An autumn-style bokbier in Dutch tradition, with a modern-fashioned twist. A bottom fermented bock style beer, with figs which explains a lot. A rather clear reddish dark brown brew with a beige frothy collar on top. The nose has heaps of raisins, sweets, some malts, hazelnut, plum, ox blood and licorice, fully flavoured. The mouthfeel has a full-bodied sweetness, with a grand palate of flavours. Licorice, prunes, lots of caramelised sugar, some bittersweet touches finishing in an almost sour ending. Lots of flavours, lots of taste, with a big shot of alcohol and little carbonation. Some peanut butter and - yes, I believe so - fig features. The malts are present in every sip, from the first to the last. Great aroma, vicious sweet undertone combined with subtle fruity patches. Deep chocolate and prunes sensations with a warming ending. Spendid.

Etiket zegt 2019 maar dat kan haast niet kloppen. Smaakt wel prima. Zoet, moutig, klein beetje roasty en dikkig.

Many thanks for this beer to Beerhunter111. Pours a clear reddish-brown color. Aroma is of caramel, hint of the rooibos, dark fruits.

Sweet, lots of caramel, raisins, caramel, some light bitterness. Soft carbonation. Not my favourite bock.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Roasty malty aroma. Starts intense malty, roasty, notes of liquorice. Also some bitter coffee notes. Finish dry-malty, roasty, liquorice. Interesting!

Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van chocolade en een vleug zwarte bessen. Niet onaardig maar wat waterig in de mond.

33cl bottle from AH. Roasted caramelly nose. The beer starts intense and dense, caramel, roast with fruity parts. Malty deep in the aftertaste, figs fruity there, round and smooth, caramel and hints of brown sugar. A very nice Winter brew.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Roast, dust and caramel in the aroma and flavor. Hints of chocolate, figs. Sweet, but not too sweet. Decent.
