Glorious English or Amber Beer
A burnished copper colour, it has a rich, tempting aroma of peppery hops and raisins while the palate is dominated by more dark fruit, juicy malt and tangy hops.

0.5 l can shared with my dad. Pours clear copper with thin head. Hops and grassy notes in aroma with a bittersweet taste. Leaves watery, slightly bitter mouthfeel. Light bodied, softly carbonated. Average.

Tap, pretty good ordinary bitter, some caramel and toffee notes with a very mild fruitiness to the fermentation profile, balanced by hop bitterness. Semi-sweet. Amber color. Nothing to set the world on fire here but a beer you can drink in a pub while talking and eating, as I did and absolutely would again.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a brown color with a medium sized foamy off white head. The aroma was woody with caramel and tobacco. The flavor was tobacco, wood, a hint of smoke and some astringency. Long finish. Medium bodied and smooth.

11.2oz can. Nice to see something different from the UK in the US market. ABV is 5.2%. Darker than I associate a Bitter with....but I guess it never describes itself as a Bitter anyway. Closer to a Mild. Deep crystal malts, mild chocolate. Hops are delicate and just provide balance. Mild dark fruit tones. Good.

Draught @ Urban Piqniq, Koper. Clear amber brown color with thick creamy tan-like head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of caramel, bread, toasted malt and flowers. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel, following is fruity and bready, while finish is medium bitter. Medium body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Smooth and not too complex...
