Cask at Smithfield, Derby (23/9/23). Pours almost black with minimal off-white head. The aroma is basically roasted malts, In the mouth it is quite bitter with a watery texture. Flavours are roast malts and oats with hints of liquorice and cola. Finish is bitter and slightly dry. This is decent enough, but a bit disappointing.

Black color with a beige layer on top. Some lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Easy to drink. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Semi dry ending. Dark malt, crystal/burnt malt, roast and cold coffee in the flavor. Decent easy drinkable stout, with an ok character.
