Cask at Smithfield, Derby (23/9/23). Pours almost black with minimal off-white head. The aroma is basically roasted malts, In the mouth it is quite bitter with a watery texture. Flavours are roast malts and oats with hints of liquorice and cola. Finish is bitter and slightly dry. This is decent enough, but a bit disappointing.
