Massively Flavoured Four Malt Porter.
Nightmare Porter wasn’t supposed to happen. A ‘Nightmare’ brew day went a little… differently than planned – but the result was so good, we knew we had something special. Dark, rich, and full of flavour, this porter went on to win CAMRA Champion Winter Beer of Britain and continues to impress with every pint. A happy accident that has become a bestseller in our range.
Gluten Free (since 2018)

Adding in my 300 Beers To Try ticks because I want to see how they impact my stats and some of them I will never see again. Will however re-rate them when practical. The Crown in Hirsell updated their Twitter feed with what beers they had in once in about 8 years and this was one I was after so quickly headed there. It was fine.

New at Liquor Shed.
It pours a very dark brown with some reddish highlights, about a 1" head of off white foam. Pretty good with the lacing.
It smells roast, with some dark chocolate, a bit of a fruity note or 2, and a hint of anise.
The taste follows the nose except the fruitiness isn’t as noticeable.
Smooth mouth feel thanks to the medium body and lightish carbonation. Last minute thought, I get a very very light smoke taste but perhaps I am wrong about that.
Super smooth and yet very tasty. I am impressed.
