Hand-pulled pint at The Pheasant Inn and Brewhouse, Wellington Shropshire on 30th April 2022. It's pale and tastes of citrus fruits! Actually it's a light golden colour with a snow white head and does indeed smell and taste of lemony grapefruit.

500ml bottle – Pours an almost clear golden colour with an average sized foamy white head. The aroma is pineapple, light sweet malts with some grassy and spicy hoppy notes. A moderately sweet taste, light malts, grainy, lemon zest and oily citrus hop flavours with a citrus and spicy hop bitter finish.

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar as part of their North Riding TTO. Mid-gold with an uneven white head. Scent of fresh grapefruit peel with lemon curd and an almost meaty character. Tastes bittersweet with a mouthful of Citra. I find North riding pales often have an almost vegetal character but this is kept to a minimum here. Bitter finish with more lemon and grapefruit. Flat body. Nice.
