5.5% easy drinking floral, fruity and lightly bitter pale ale, built around a complex malt base of Golden Promise with some wheat and oats. This provides a dry but full body on which we’ve layered up Simcoe, bringing flavours of juicy papaya and tangerine.

Bottle split at Leightons gaff, thanks to Dave, 08/11/18. Lightly hazed pale golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is grassy, orange peel, melon, lemon tinged straw, light breads. Taste comprises orange pith, faint pine, melon, grass, toasted malts, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy to grassy hop bitterness. Ok pale if not one I'd likely rush back for in this day and age.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours lightly hazy gold with a soft, fading foamy white head. Enjoyable pale, has ample bready pale malts, semi-ripe citrus fruits, tangerine especially, some melon, cantaloupe, light rindy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, subtly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with a modest flinty dryness, some lemon peel, more pale bread, a hint of grass. Drinkable stuff.
