500ml bottle from Morrisons online. Clear amber with nice creamy looking off-white head. Little on the nose except malts and a touch of metallic hops. Bready malts, nuts, hint of toffee and a very off-putting metallic note. Quite dry. I want to like it but I don't.

Bottle from Tesco in Conwy. Color: Clear deep amber, beige head. Aroma: Caramel malt, hints of nuts. Taste: Caramel malt, sweetish, green and some citrus hop backbone. Starting malty, finishing more hoppy. Moderate sweet, light going to moderate bitterness at the dry, long lasting finish. Medium body, below average carbonation Typical British. Easy drinkable Not that bad.

Pint from cask at The Queen's Vaults, Cardiff. A clear dark reddish pour with a finger of creamy tan head. Aroma is caramel, red berries, red apple, and that oxidizing funk that reminds of appleseed. Not too dry but not sweet either. No carbonation, as expected from cask. Lacking in acidity, so it should always be chilled. Not much bitterness either.
