On 1st November 2015, Best Bitter was renamed Ringwood Razorback, to make it appeal to younger drinkers who don’t gravitate towards “bitters” by name; with the recipe and technique remaining unchanged. The name is a homage to the brewery symbol, the boar. Razorback is an American and Australian term for a wild boar.

This is a typical but subpar bitter. Nothing desperately offensive but it's watery and nothing-y.

Kicsi, nem túl tartós hab, vörös szín. Karamelles, égetett cukros illat, némi fűszeres beütéssel. Fűszeres, kissé fanyar, enyhén karamelles ízek. Könnyű, közepesen szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Sajna minden komponens a külön világát éli, nincs összhang.

0.5l bottle. Dark orange body with a thin white head. Grainy aroma with a bit of toast and some spicy hops. Taste is quite similar to the aroma, mostly grainy that is quite unusual for a bitter and toast plus a bit of caramel and spicy hops. As it's rather watery the bitterness seems to ve a bit harsh. Drinkable, but had better bitter before.

0.55 bottle from Lidl. 1,65 euro. Nice, clear amber color. The essence of this beer is that it can be made delicious from a quality raw material with a low alcohol content. Quality malt, full hops. Perfect for drinking bitter. The smell is also delicious.

Szép, tiszta borostyán szín. Ennek a sörnek a lényege, hogy alacsony alkohol fokkal minőségi alapanyagbol is lehet finomat csinálni. Minőségi maláta, fullos komlózás. Tökéletes ivós bitter. Az illata is finom.

500ml bottle: BB 28th Feb 2019. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 20th Mar 2018. Chestnut/mahogany body, clean and clear looking, fast fading off-white head. Watery stuff with some red fruits and malts in both the nose and taste. Disappointing, I will not be buying the t'shirt which was on offer on the rear label of the bottle!

Bottle. Clear amber colour. A moderate creamy off-white well-lacing head. Malty aroma. Buscuit, caramel, bread crust. Minor esters. Light body with lively carbo. Bittersweet taste. Dry enough. Malts and grassy hops. Very thirst quenching. Decent bitter.

Clear medium amber good frothy off-white to beige head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, raisins. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malts, caramel, brown bread. Dry malty caramellish sweetbitter aftertaste, bitter finish. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, rather rough malty bitter, quite nice actually.
