Beetje boterig mondgevoel.

Bottle from EricKok, thanks! Amber color. Malt, floral notes and plums in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with plums. Medium bodied. Fairly high on carbon, but a pleasant beer.

330ml bottle, L29011901, as Paquita Brown, 5.5 % abv, 40 IBU, at The Grill in Albir. Clingy lacing from a stable off-white head. Bright amber coloured body, hazy last pour. Moderate smell of brown malts, semi dry. Toffee flavours with a backdrop of leafy hops. Roasted, earthy finish. Quite alright as a partner to my Spanish burger. (Albir 12.04.2019).

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 13B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 15014901 (BBF 01-20). AROMA: medium-high sulphury aroma (cooked cabbages-like), overpowering everything else. APPEARANCE: amber color and clear. medium beige head with medium-low retention. TASTE: slight sulphury note, followed by low diacetyl, slight caramelly malt and faint oxidation. meidum-high bitterness with a dry and overly bitter finish. PALATE: meidum-light body with medium carbonation. astringency. OVERALL: a brown ale with execution and recipe formulation errors.
