Cask at The Cornishman in Crantock. Caramel nose. Dark. Malt heavy on the palate and flavour. Bit dull but sweet enough to get through it.

Cask somewhere in Penzance. Unclear, deep golden body with a dense, tan head. Aroma is mostly malty with hints of red fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, hint of toast, relatively smooth, some butterscotch (not too bad) with hint of slightly acid berries. Medium body and average aftertaste. Slightly dull and probably not in it’s best shape but drinkable.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a clear dark brown with moderate sized off-white head. Aroma of light roasted malts, toffee, berries. Very malty in taste, roast and caramel, berry fruitiness to balance. Medium bodied. Well balanced decent bitter but doesn't stand out.

Cask at Shelverdine Goathouse, Norwood 30/11/2024 Toasted and lightly sweet malty with notes of caramel and toffee, undercurrent of twiggy herbal hoppy action, grain, cereal, dried fruit, soft cask carb, bitter hoppy finish. Good condition and surprisingly good.
