Dark brown body with a decent tan head. Nutty ,coffee and caramel. Average carbo. Well balanced and quite drinkable .One of the best quality /price ratio beers that I’ve drunk in Germany and my best Dunkel/Tmavý so far.

Barcode indicates this beer and brewery but I think it’s now Pardubicky Baron now 5.2%. Anyway... 500 ml bottle. Pours a reddish mahogany with moderate head. Aromas of dusty light chocolate and bready malts. Thin flavors of same. Good for quaffing

500ml bottle. (5.2% ABV) As Baron Bohemian Czech Dark Lager. Pours a clear red-brown with a medium, foamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of toasted bready malt, caramel, toffee, molasses and light chocolate. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, raisin, earth and grassy hops in a dry finish. Light to medium body with a watery to oily texture and soft carbonation. Pleasant, tasty and easy to drink. Na zdravi!

Milk chocolate aroma ("koetjesrepen") with malt. Slightly roasted flavor. Hint of banana. Sweetish, creamy with a chocolate aftertaste. Fine dunkel, clean and tasty.

500 ml bottle, served in mug. Black/dark brown colour, bright brown head, not long lasting. Smoked/roasted malt, cocoa, toffe, coffee, aroma stout-like. Quite malty, spicy and medium bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body. Soft carbonated. Smooth and palatable. Very nice for its style.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear chestnut brown, beige head. Smells of dark bread crust and a little bit of chocolate/fudge/cupcake sweetness. The taste starts dry and thinnish, with harsh hoppy and mineral notes, but soon gets warm and gentle, with some chocolate cake smoothness and a dry herbal bitterness. Good.
