Foggy gold colour with a moderate white head. Nose: clean biscuit malt, quite a bit of high quality British floral hop. Taste: clean, malty and hoppy. Biscuit, blossom, spicy notes. Light bitterness. A good golden ale.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Blond coloured with big white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and pine hops, bit of pineapple, mango and orange. Taste is very fruity, with bitterness in the finish. Some maltiness there too. Pretty nice actually. Nice feeling in the mouth, not too thin, but not too full on, and with just a little prickle. Very easy to drink. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bishops Farewell (Bottle) on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. 500ml bottle, thanks to djoeye for sharing. Covering white head over a misty golden body. Clingy lacing. Moderate smell of ripe lemon. Slightly honeyed sweet malt-fruity flavours, hints of lemon and bread. A bitter twist to the ending. Quite refreshing. Likable. (Pivoteka H7, Tromsø 03.09.2019).
