Smirnoff Cider, a mouth-watering combination of cider, Passion Fruit & Lime Fruit flavours and Smirnoff vodka. Lightly fizzed, crisp on flavour for a refreshing taste.
Perfect for those long summer evenings. Enjoy served over ice or chilled straight from the bottle, with friends.

500ml bottle. Pours gold with low carbonation. Aroma is passionfruit and Brussels sprouts. Taste has passionfruit throughout with some vegetable notes. Cheap vodka aftertaste.

Bottle from Tesco. Would never have even thought about buying this if i hadnt noticed these were ratable, so my curiousness got the better of me. Bought for educational (& rating) purposes only. Pours clear gold, aroma is sweet passionfruit / lime syrup. Taste is moderately sweet, drying, surprisingly drinkable. Very little apple or cider presence. Tastes a bit like schloer.

500ml bottle from Ken Warne, Darlington. Yellow gold colour with a short-lived whit foam head and aroma of ripe passionfruit with lime & sulphury hint. Taste is very sweet, sugary, green apple with passionfruit and lime flavourings and a vodka note. Sticky syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, sweet finish. Very artificial, too sweet.

Bottle at the Duck in the Pond, Harrow Weald. This Ember Inns pub, my in-laws local, used to have a decent range of guest real ales at one point. Sadly, those days are long gone, and with only the boring get-'em-anywhere ales available I've been reduced to hitting the first fruit ciders for new rates when we come here for dinner. This one's pale gold with a light fizz. It's light and refreshing in body, with passion fruit to the fore and just a hint of lime behind. There's no sign of the cider - we're definitely in alcopop territory here. However, unlike most if it's competitors, it's actually not sickly sweet and is quite refreshing. As this genre of drinks goes it's actually not too bad - that us until an ugly slug of dirty vodka comes through in the aftertaste. Shame, get rid of that and you'd actually have a surprisingly nice summer drink.

Bottle from ASDA, Halifax. Pale golden-yellow in appearance. The passionfruit is certainly above its lime in both its aroma and taste, and has a soured citrus finish, but still fruity enough, with the passionfruit back in its aftertaste.

500ml bottle. Clear golden orange colour with no head. Aroma is floral, elderflower like, probably the passionfruit and lime together I suppose. Taste exactly as the aroma, can’t taste much apple, there is a hint of vodka, medium-heavy sweet tasting. Alright
