Keg @ The Font, Manchester. Amber with a thin head. There’s plenty of tropical fruitiness in both aroma and taste, with a slight bitter dryness in the latter.

Can from Valhalla’s Goat, Glasgow. Dark orange, cloudy, with a bit of white head on top. Dried fruit candy, mango nectar in the aroma. Taste is sweet at first but it eventually turns a bit sour, with raw citrussy hop in the finish and aftertaste. It has some nice moments though it’s a trifle one-dimensional.

Hazy light brown colour. Aroma and flavour have some boiled vegetables, caramel malts and a fruity tang in the finish.

Can shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours hazy golden orange with a thin white head. Aromas of apricot and orange, slightly creamy. Taste is more orange, not much mango action. Thin finish.

Can from the Booking Office. Appearance - bright amber and hazy. Nice fluffy head. Nose - oranges and apricot. Light spice. Taste - more of the same. More orange than mango in truth. Light resin. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good.

330ml can from The Whisky Trail Shop, Edinburgh. Pours a misty orangey amber, thinning white head. Aroma is light mango. Taste is smooth, light exotic fruits. Ok.

12oz can from Drygate pours a muddy orange with some creamy, lacing, slightly off white head. Nose has more melon than mango, more orange than guava, some light grist, light pith. Flavor is pithy with orange and even some lime, a little lemon soda, some grist, a little cracker. Finishes dry, a little bitter. The mango is muted, but not a bad beer. Folks at Drygate said the canning was taking some time to come out and the draft version had a lot more mango.

Can on the train to Brighton. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, fruit, mango smoothie, tropical fruit cocktail and mango sorbet. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange peel, tangerine, mango, mild fruity acidity, citrus peel, pepper and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. A quaffale fruity pale ale.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy amber body with a thin white off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of mango purée, caramel and toffee. Flavour pine, mango and minerals. Medium body with a powdery texture. Very fizzy. Nice and fruity.
