Cookie Cream Stout- Eight malt varieties give a complex backbone to this "dessert in a glass" beer. Cacao nibs, biscuit and oats bring cookie to the party with the cream coming from lactose in the boil and a touch of vanilla.
Contains: Malted barley (gluten), oats, wheat, yeast, hops, water, cacao, vanilla.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, a little dark chocolate. Creamy dark malts. Cookie sweetness. Smooth finish. Nice. Could do with another element but it's good.

So I had this as a can of 'Nitro Milk Stout' at 5.7% which differs from this. And it's just,.... a good stout. Nothing to set the world alight but very pleasant all the same.

Cask @ Tapped Leeds, Leeds. Black with a creamy off-white head. A cookie dough flavour incorporates well with roasted malts. It's mildly gritty and certainly flavoursome. Has a fairly easy texture for its strength.
