50cl bottle as Green Daemon Helles: BBE Dec 17. Poured at home into an 8 Sail Brewery badged pint sleeve on 25th May 17. Shared with no one. Very slight haze to the golden pour, uneven blanket of white foam for a covering. Soft feel to the brew body wise, first thing I noticed as I looked, sniffed and sipped. Aroma has a mild mixed fruity nature, the taste also has a mixed fruity trace in the flavour. The beer gets more sweeter and maltier as it warms a little, which I liked. Has more about it than your typical ’Pale Lager’ that’s for sure, would certainly be in my top 50 anyway.

50cl bottle from Asda, Farnborough. A straw coloured pour with a white head; musty, honeyed aroma; full bodied grainy taste with some sweetness and a reasonable amount of grassy hops. A reason attempt at the Helles style.
