Hogan’s Dry Bottled Cider is a deep gold, slightly sparkling, dry cider with a fruity aroma of traditional bitter sweet apple with spice and peaty overtones.
Hogan’s Bottled Cider is fermented from only 100% fresh pressed English cider apples. Our cider tastes so good because we do not use apple concentrate and we do not add any sugars prior to fermentation. Containing more than 85% cider apple juice our premium bottled cider is made only from fresh pressed cider fruit and precious little else. Hogan’s bottled cider brings you the authentic taste of the English orchard.

13/2/2019. Bottle from Warwick Real Ale, Warwick. Pours clear bright golden with a small short lasting white head. Aroma of semi-sweet apples, vanilla, light wood and a little peat and dung. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Dry and acidic to finish. Grew on me.

Bottle @ Warwick Real Ale, Warwick. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet apples, sulphur and green apples. Flavor is medium sweet. Dry finish. 120219

Keg @ Stable, Birmingham. Strange that no one else has tried this in the last 5 years. Pours clear gold, bright carbonation. Apple sweetness and light sulphur on the nose, returning to taste with apple must and dry pulp notes. Not the best from Hogans.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.8%. Clear golden colour, pours moderately sparkling with a minimal white head. Nice aroma of cider apples and oak, hints of sulphites. Moderate carbonation in the mouth. Medium dry flavour, notes of cider appes with some tannines, also oak and sulphites. Astringent finish.

KRS 250316. Golden colour with some white bubbles. Aroma is apple, yeast. Flavour is dry, apples, yeast, fruit, farmhouse. OK Cider.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden cider, still and with some white bubbles on top. Apple cores dominates the aroma, with some fresh apples, apple pie and a faint hint of caramel. It’s medium bodied and dry-ish, with a pleasant carbonation. Toffee hints, a yeasty, sulphury note and apples in the flavor, with the apples and toffee notes lasting for a good while. A quite pleasant cider, but sort of ordinary. 160325
