A truly traditional cider, golden in colour with punchy, smokey and peaty notes that give an earthiness so wonderfully reminiscent of our rural surroundings, you could almost be here with us.

Ingredients: English cider apple juice, water, sugar, carbon dioxide, malic acid, preservative: potassium metabisulphite (sulphites)

500ml bottle, L2279, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours a bright late straw coloured body, noisy, quickly diminishing bubbly, white head. No lacing. Moderate smell of farmyard and apple skins. Fresh, slightly tart apples to the taste profile, earthy. Drying close, clean and lingering, with mild tartness to it. Lightly smoked throughout. Pleasing. (Tromsø, 18.05.2024).

50cl bottle bought at Jaanihanso Ciderhouse. Pours clear golden with a short-lived, white head. Aroma of ripe apples with some gentle, smoky notes. Medium to moderate sweet with medium flavour intensity. Quite okay.

Bottle thanks to AJ. Pours copper gold with no head. The aroma is apple skin, peat, smoke. Light body, apple, peat, nice smoke finish, dry, very good.

500ml bottle. Dark gold, fizzy. Aroma of ripe apples, barnyard earthy. Taste is very dry with tannins, apples, earthy. Light to moderate body and carbonation. Different as ciders go.

Bottled. A golden cider with a fast disappearing beige head. The aroma has notes of funk, apples, lemons, and a bit of smoke. The flavor is smoke, wood, funk, and apples, leading to a tart finish.

12/09/2019 @home - bottle from Malt Attacks. Clear golden, no head, lively carbonation. Nose is woody smoke notes, aplle. Taste is fresh green apple, very dry, hint of peat and fleshy smoke; Interesting.

Bottle at Joe's. Pours clear golden, nose is apple pie, toffee, hint of smoke, taste is dry, peaty, juicy apple, zesty.

13/2/2019. Bottle from Warwick Real Ale, Warwick. Pours clear bright golden with a small short lasting white head. Aroma of semi-sweet apples, vanilla, light wood and a little peat and dung. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Dry and acidic to finish. Grew on me.

Bottle @ Warwick Real Ale, Warrick. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, juice, hops and has a light smoky finish.
