Paxton IPA is dry hopped with charismatic Australian hops known for their distinctive orange bouquet and wild herbal undertones. Full of flavour and attitude this beer does not apologise for what it is: a hard hitting, fully hopped IPA.

WHAT’S IN A NAME

India Pale Ale was first brewed in Britain, in the early 19th century. Its high alcohol content and increased hop count helped preserve the beer, making it an ideal candidate for export. It was first shipped to India, where it wreaked havoc in the flying carpet industry, prompting local authorities to ban this particular mode of transport altogether.

Hazy golden pour with a fine thick head. Nice lacing. Pleasant aroma with a fine fresh hop profile. Ok balanced sweetness and bitterness. Semi dry and a fine tail. Citric, fruity and pine in the flavor. Tasty and very session able beer. [Can from a local grocery store at Liverpool Street Station in London, England]

Can: Poured a murky brown with beige finger head. Aroma is interesting hops that can't pinpoint, maybe little pine. Taste is burnt smokey with some hops and malts. This one is different for sure.

Can 360 330ml (Prisma Itäkeskus, BB 05/2019)
Hazy murky dark amber colour, good cloudy off-white head and lace. Strong hop oils in the piney nose. Light-bodied. Hop oils, pellets, citrus, resin and some tropical fruits in the flavour. Basicly ok but same time somewhat rough.
