Former name: "Brauer Bier Urig Würzig".
Unsere älteste Biersorte in bester Brauer-Tradition. Kernig ist es, mit markant nussigen Akzenten, bevor sich eine angenehme Hopfenwürze entfaltet. Alles in allem rund und ausgewogen im Geschmack.

pours clear light yellow with almost no head to speak of, despite strong carbonation. bready, fruity. apples, citrus, grass. lacks on bitterness, somewhat sour, dry finish. just slightly better than average.

Bottle (shared by FatPhil, thanks!). Pours clear golden with white-ish head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sweet, grainy, malty. Flavor is sweet, grainy, malty, some maize. Body is watery. Overall: not a horror, but not something I would to try again.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of bready, biscuit malt, grassy hops. The taste is apples, grassy and spicy hops. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

500ml bottle from Aldi - Bright yellow body, clear and fizzy, bold white head. As far as lagers go, this is okay, a bit grassy, but it did the job.

Bottle @ home. Clear lightly pale golden color, medium to full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste malts, lightly hayish, lightly a herbal touch, lightly hops and softly bitter. Decent body and carbontion. Quite nice, one of the better lagers I’ve had lately.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 1C). Bottle 50 cl - batch 14L128A152. AROMA: sweet and grainy aromas. no hop aromas. some metallic notes. no DMS. APPEARANCE: gold color and translucid. thin white head with low retention. TASTE: low sweet grainy flavour with low to medium low bitterness that lingers. odd wet fabric flavour (maybe oxidation). PALATE: thin body with low carbonation. OVERALL: a watered down premium lager with some odd flavours maybe due to oxidation.

Bottle. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Run of the mill lager, with a hint of corn and moderately bitter finish. So so.

German standard Pilsener with snow white head and clear golden colour, aroma malty with a cheesy and clearly metallic effect, as well as light spicy hoppiness. The taste is likewise, a bit thin in the malt region, a bit cheesy and irony and with a late, herbal, medium strength hop bitterness.

Smooth-malty in the beginning. Freshly hopped with a nice grainy-worthy aroma. Very nice and fresh, slightly bitter and easy to drink.
