Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Opaque dark brown color, full sized fizzy light brown head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, dried leaves, earthy, caramel, weak coffee. Fizzy carbonation, average body. Ok beer.

Bottle @ benzai. Brown colour with a large off-white head. Smells carbo (probably doesn’t make sense, but it’s like inhaling with your nose in a yeastbucket), roasty. Tastes coffee, roasty, chocolate, moccha. All quite subtle though. Could call it watery if you wanted. Thin body, soft carbo.

300ml bottle including a syringe for "extra foam" at home courtesy of Cuso, thanks. BB 02/2016. almost black color, medium big tan head. smells roast, earthy, coffee, light chocolate, light ash notes. lovely smell. light body, very light pearly carbonation, slick / creamy mouthfeel. tastes coffee, earthy, light chocolate, spices, some ash, roast. finishes with spices, earthy notes and some roast. the carbonation of the first glass was quite light, better after that. the beer looses quite a bit on the finish, which is quite boring unfortunatly. apart from that great beer though would score quite a bit higher if the finish was better.
