Lambinett was made by co-fermenting a strong red wort with Dabinett juice and cider lees in old oak whisky casks for 15 months. A true blend of traditional cider making and beer brewing techniques.

Bottle shared at Richs. It pours hazy orangey - amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is bright, zingy, juicy, apple, pear, oak, must, funk, mellow, juicy, white grape, gooseberry, minerals, light sherbet and apple pie. The taste is firmly dry, musty, funky, juicy, sour apple, pear, gooseberry, white grape, funky, bright, whisky, apple skin, minerality, pucker. Nips of spice, light tannin, sherbet and light lactic vibes with a drying finish. Medium body and fairly high, foamy carbonation. Loverly rounded and quaffable. Juicy, tangy, fruity and lovely overall.

75cl bottle shared with Soph. Pours opaque murky golden brown. Cider influence on the nose, soft wild lambic. Initial sip suggests a noticeable cider influence, soft musty whisky funk coming through with a crisp wild lambic tang emerging on the close. Loving the kaleidoscopic complexities at work here. Very good.

4/2/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours hazy dark amber with a bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma of light whiskey, wood, citrus, berries, apple, funky notes and a hint of marzipan. Moderate sweetness and medium tartness. Medium body, oily texture, a bit above average carbonation. Enjoyable.

750ml bottle from Hop, Burns & Black. Rating #6000. Hazy orangey amber colour, big foamy head that dissipates to a thin layer and aroma of juicy apple, funky, earthy, alittle grain. Taste is sourish, lemon rind, some grain, funk and musty apple, orchardy, apple skin, woody, oak barrel, tangy, tannic, whisky hints. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, fine soft carbonation, dry warm woody oaky finish. Very drinkable, excellent collaboration.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Dave! Pours unclear gold with a foamy, white head. Lovely stuff, nice cider notes, light alcohol, moderate tannins, lemon. Light to medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Has a bit of warming alcohol in the finish, pleasant dried apples. Very good stuff.
