The dark, robust body and pronounced smoky flavor of this limited edition beer make it an adventuresome taste experience. Alaskan Smoked Porter is produced in limited “vintages” each year on November 1 and unlike most beers, may be aged in the bottle much like fine wine.

Enorme ham/bacon, vrij dun, maar voor een 12 jaar oude porter, best nog wel ok, vervlakt erg snel..

I think this might be starting to go past its prime. Still heavy smokey of course, but seems to be missing some of the rich meatyness younger ones have, getting a bit flat. Smooth and ashy, really fun to try one this old.
