A kettle sour is a beer that is soured in the kettle prior to fermentation, rather than sour because of being fermented by wild yeast and bacteria. The beer is fermented with brewers’ yeast just as any other ale. Fruit is added to the fermenter once the primary fermentation is over. The sugar from the fruit then is consumed in a secondary fermentation.

Near clear golden orange with no head. Aroma of pineapple and tart passion fruit with a touch of funk. Flavour is moderate sour. Light bodied with light carbonation.
