Imperial Golden Ale with Coffee, Cocoa Nibs, Vanilla and Milk Sugar

Take in the wonder that is the marvelous – ahem – “marvelroast” new addition to our coffee beer lineup. We started with an imperial golden ale and brewed it with coffee, vanilla and cocoa nibs. But it doesn’t end there, folks. Milk sugar added during the brewing process lends a smooth and sweet finish, making this a delicious treat reminiscent of your favorite iced coffee drink.

Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Oranje tot amberkleurig bier, licht troebel. Aroma en smaak van vanille. Nasmaak is zoet en vanille achtig.

Fles gedeelt met Inoven. Het is een troebel oranje bier met een dun wit schuim. Het heeft een zoete vanille achtige geur. De smaak is vanille (erg overheersend) en zoete toffee met tonen van chocolade.

Very nice stuff. Not sure if this is what a white stout is but this is what it should be if not. Coffee and roast, dark chocolate. Great balance. Just sweet enough. Just coffee enough. Golden pour with good head. Bittersweet floral type finish. Bottle.

35cl fles van hopt.nl. Diep goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Zoet, vanille, custard, koffie en cacao, in de smaak meer koffie melk melk en suiker, vanille, prototype white stout dit. Medium body. Smaakvol, goed, wel behoorlijk zoet.

355ml bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours clear, amber, with very fine white foam. Aroma is intense of cocoa, vanilla. Body is fairly full, with limited carbonation. Taste is rich, surprising, with medium-high sweetness matched with a nice roastiness. Final is fairly long and roasty.

Bottle picked up from Saveur-Biere webshop, Lille, France and consumed at home Wednesday 3rd February 2021 listening to Steve Lamaq and now Marc Riley on 6Music and we had Stuffed Aubergine with Mozzarella and a Tomato Sauce, served with Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil Salad. Pours light amber with a white head, coffee, milky, a warm light boozy hit, it really semi reminds me of a cocktail, quite a bonkers beer, I really shouldn't like this as lactose in beer really annoys me and yet for some bizzare reason it works supremely well here. There is also milky chocolate (white chocolate), I keep thinking Mudslide or a bit like a White Russian, completely bonkers.

12 oz. Aroma is coffee, vanilla, chocolate, as described. Pours lightly hazy golden with flecks of sediment and a one finger bone-white head that falls into a ring and skiff of foam somewhat quickly. Taste is moderately to highly sweet with some light herbal hop bitterness in the finish. Tasty.
