Can. This beer is an American Marzen beer. Golden-orange in color with a not so nitro fizz. Aroma is very malty. Taste is very malty and tasty. I really love this beer.

Last time I had one of these, gave me a headache, so not looking forward to this review, but got to do it. Pours a clean amber colour with golden highlights. A little cascade effect from the nitro, creating a nice creamy mildly off-white head with good retention and creamy lacing. Cereal grain nose with the caramel malts and hints of apples. Smooth mouthfeel with limited carbonation and slightly creamy. Mild tasting and not too sweet. Cereal notes again, and surprisingly well-hidden adjuncts. A touch of caramel and molasses, but not overly sweet. Drinkable, but hope I do not get another headache tonight. I think that is it for the case I purchased.

Can to glass. Pours golden-copper with fluffy, sustained white head. The nitro works well in the head. Flavor is caramel and cereal grain. Aroma is mostly grain. As it warmed, the malt took on a charred taste.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours bright amber with a small white head. Aroma is that German sort of roasty/toasty malt. Hop? Hard to say. Med body. Flavor is European toasty malt, sort of, and there may be some Saaz hop, but hardly any. There’s something suggesting bitterness, but not much. Need more hop!

12oz can picked up at Harmon's. Followed the directions on the can. Clear amber with a medium sized off-white head, light lacing. Caramel, pale malts, bitters, citrus peel, sweet. I couldn't finish the can. Too sweet.

Can, flip 3 times and pour. OK, not as beautiful of a head as a real nitro, just barely. Look is slightly orange pale yellow and clear. Taste is rather bitter. Reminds me quite a bit of poorly made domestic ESB. Flatness of this brew is a little bit of a turn off. Picked this up for a tick and that's all its worth. Quite disappointing in general, considering that I do find most of AB's beers quite acceptable. Who wants to drink a flat pale lager? Defeats the purpose, no?

12 ounce can, 8.14.20. Hazy copper large foamy off-white head good retention. Aroma of caramel malt, tinny hops. Taste is caramel, banana, pale malt. Medium bodied.

355ml can. Pours a clear amber with a medium, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of toasted bready malt, caramel, corn and light grass. Sweet flavour of bready caramel malt, corn and light toffee in a dry, mild bitter, grassy finish. Medium body with a thick, creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. A pleasant surprise. I really wanted to hate this, but it's actually not bad. I would have liked a little lighter mouthfeel. For a Lager this was a bit heavy, taking away some of its drinkability.

Clear gold with a decent white head. Light apple and caramel. Tastes much light it smalels. Not sure what they are going for, but they didn't achieve it.
