This beautifully coloured Blueberry Vanilla Ale has the taste of real vanilla bean paired with a generous amount of blueberry purée which comes through beautifully.
We followed a traditional Bière de Garde style which translates to “beer for keeping.” But we suggest that this one is “beer for drinking.” We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Murky light brown body and little foam, pretty ugly. Jammy blueberry aroma with vanilla notes, coming on thick. Taste is syrupy blueberry with vague vanilla notes and sweet maltiness on the finish. Drinkable but a little subpar.

Poured from 473mL can. Copper with off-white head. Vanilla, blueberry.... why?

Deep copper with small white heads. Blueberry and vegetal notes. Sweet blueberry notes and a long finish. Why?

473mL can, pours a deep dark red with a small off-white head. Aroma reveals plenty of blueberry upfront, with a touch of vanilla and a touch of Belgian yeast. Flavour is quite fruity, with tart blueberry, a touch of vanilla, and earthy yeasty notes. A bizarre concoction -- who'da thunk a blueberry vanilla biere de garde was a good idea? This is a mess.
