De QD is de B6 Quadrupel maar dan doorontwikkeld met 20 jaar oude rum uit Barbados die is gerijpt op bourbon vaten en Frans eiken. Een prachtige smaakcombinatie van karamel, rozijnen, vijgen, vanille, rijpe banaan en kokos. Het maakt deze Quadrupel onvoorstelbaar zacht en intens.

Bottle. Amber color. Malt, dried fruit, marzipan, soft herbal notes. Rhum, vanilla in the aroma and the sweet flavor. Herbal, just a bit thin. Tasty.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Brown with a thin off-white head. Caramel, raisins, figs, rum aroma. Sweet taste with an undefined underlying dusty taste. thin body. Can't describe why exactly but I didn't like this one at all.

Fles gedeelt door Inoven. Het is een helder amberkleurig bier met weinig schuim welke snel weg ebt. Het heeft een licht rum en vanille achtig aroma met hints van hout. De smaak is warm, zacht zoet, vol, houtig en licht rum achtig. Erg lekker!

Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Helder amberkleurig bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma is fruitig en koffieachtig. Smaak is zoetig en houtachtig maar waarschijnlijk door de rum smaakt het wat zacht.

Bottle at a Tasting at Koelschtrinker's place. A a almost clear dark amber beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of red malt, ripe fruits, caramel. Taste of dried fruits, wood, caramel, strong riped fruits.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, best before November 2019. Clear, reddish brown with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly yeasty-spicy and moderately fruity aroma of caramel, prunes, some vanilla and maybe hints of rum. Medium sweet, slightly bitter, malty, a bit yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of caramel, raisins, prunes, some vanilla and hints of rum, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy and a little woody finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay!
