Medium creamy offwhite head. Clear coppery body. Light floral strawy aroma. Dry-sweet floral spicy gooseberry taste with wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dry-bitter grassy dandelion aftertaste with spicy fruity wooden notes. (0.284l cask at Brigantes, York. I only noted this as "Yorkshire Gold", with no more detail, but circumstantial evidence strongly indicates it must be this beer.)
