Aus der Flasche im 2017-09 getrunken. Schöne Citrusnote mit moderater Hopfenaroma in der Nase und am Gaumen. Schöner Durstlöscher.

500ml bottle: BBE Dec 2018. Poured into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ badged vase pint glass at home on 21st July 2017. Random tasting evening with myself: this is beer number seven. Clean, clear and bright golden amber body, smooth white foam blanket on top. Malty lead to the aroma, some piney and resin like hop notes too. The taste is a lovely blend of maltiness and hop bitterness, robust and interesting flavours arrive, stay and then fade away for others to take their place: my first beer from this brewery, it will not be my last (hopefully).

Bottle from a Morrisons in Glasgow. Amber in colour, with moderate carbonation. Caramel sweetness, digestive biscuit malts, some citrus fruit and leafy hops, leading to a dryish finish. Sweet and not my favourite IPA by a long way.

Bottle. Clear amber colour, big off-white rocky head. Stays. A: floral and piny hops, biscuit. Minor tropical fruit. Light to medium body. Medium dry taste. Hoppy. Earthy, piny. Ligh to medium bitterness.

Tap at Cuckoo, Belfast. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is yeast, tropical fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, crisp fruity, light peppermint hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

On tap at The Hudson Bar, Belfast. Clear amber with a dense, lasting head. Mild hoppy and mslty aroma with some fruity notes. Moderate sweet with mild fruity and hoppy flavours and a fair bitterness. Easy to drink and quite okay.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Royal Mile Whiskies. Pours clear copper-gold with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds toasty malts, a little butterscotch, melon, jammy orange. Medium sweet flavour with further sweet, bready malts, oily butterscotch, faint piney bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more of the same, ripening citrus fruits, faint berries, some leafy and piney hops, lightly toasted malts. Pretty ho hum overall.

500ml bottle from Scottish Real Ale Shop, Kilmahog. Pours clear amber, thin wispy head. Aroma is stewed fruit, peach. Taste is soft fruits, sweet malt, boiled sweets. Not bad at all.
