Bottle thanks to my step-dad. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Not a lot going on aroma-wise. Faint citrus, faint caramel. Taste is watery too. Light chalky bite. Not nothingy really.

Bottle from ASDA, Keighley. Tawny-golden with a light carbonation and next to no head. It has a very steady IPA styling but there's nothing too distinguished about it.

500ml bottle. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light caramel malt, tropical fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a dry malt, fruity, light floral hop, dry pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from Earl of Beaconsfield, Cambridge. Dark gold, clear, quite a lot of carbonation. A thin creamy off-white head leaves generous lacing down the glass. Wow... a surprising amount of sulphur in the aroma, but there are some pleasant melon notes behind it. Taste is bittersweet with a wonderful balance: the astringency adds a bit of finesse to the recipe. More bitterness in the lingering finish with mellow tropical fruit in the aftertaste. Good, but feels a trifle more English than American, not that I’m complaining.

50cl bottle. Pours clear dark golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of citrus, spruce, toated malt. Taste of grassy and fruity bitter hops, citrus, spruce, tangerine, nice!

Bottle from Sainsburys. Amber pour with a white head. Nose of vanilla, citrus peel, wheat. Flavours of citrus, light malt and vanilla. Light bitter finish.
