On tap at Man in the Moon. Hazy reddish with a small head. Tart with cherries, light oak, mild lemon and some bread. A decent one.

Cette Safe Heaven, présentant, 8 %, 40 EBC et 25 IBU nous est présentée comme étant une saison avec cerise vieillie en fut de vin rouge français. Au final, avec une acidité très présente, nous sommes davantage sur une sour qu'une saison, ce qui fait une réelle différence. Avec de surcroit une trop forte présence des arômes de fut de vin rouge qui écrase complètement la cerise, l'ensemble m'a globalement déçu. En verres nous sommes une robe couleur framboise sans mousse. Le nez met d'emblée l'acidité au cœur du sujet sur le vinaigre, le chêne et le vin rouge. Les cerises ne s'expriment pas réellement. Cela est également le cas à la dégustation où sur l'attaque la cerise est très discrète. On ressent cependant qu'elles apportent un peu de douceur par rapport à une base très acide sur le vinaigre et le fut de vin rouge. La deuxième bouche voit l'acidité baisser d'un cran, mais toujours sans réelle expression de cerise. L'arrière bouche revient sur une acidité trop marquée. La présence en bouche est bonne toutefois, comme la longueur qui essaye péniblement de se rééquilibrer. Je ne suis pas sorti complètement Safe de cette dégustation.

Bottle. Slightly unclear deep golden reddish body under a nice beige/pink head. Mild and pleasant aroma of delicate cherry, general fruit/berries, light malt, slightly funky and just a faint hint of wood. Taste has the same ingrediencies as found in aroma but more distinct cherry without dominating the beer. Fine balanced body and slightly funky vinous aftertaste.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik. Reddish color, short frothy head. Aroma of cherry, cherrypits, slight minerally, hint of plastic, soft spicy yeast notes. No marzipan or sweet cherry candy. Sweetness in taste only from some malts, but mostly fruit bitter, cherry skin, soft sourness, acidic. Quite dry, except for the malty sweetness. Decent stuff

Big bottle, thanks to Finn for sharing. Cloudy dark reddish body, filmy layer, spotty lacing. Cherries aromas, dry. Taste of cherries, wood and yeasty fruitiness. Prolonged ending. Quite refreshing. (Shared with MrSoul and Finn, Tromsø 18.01.2020).

Delt med MrSoul og Rune. Mørkerød. Filmskum. Tydelig kirsebæraroma. Smaken tørr. Mest kirsebær. Hint av andre bær. Litt uvariert. Syrlig helhetsinntrykk.

Bottle, 75cl. A cherry-red, lightly hazy beer with a small pinkish white head. Lightly funky, oaked aroma with cherry and generic berries. Barnyard, leather hints and a wee hint of bread. It's medium to full bodied, dry and a bit softly carbonated. Cherry, generic fruityness, lemon hints, some bread hints and a touch of oak in the flavor. Lasting cherry driven finish. Nice, tasteful, a bit gentle. One for the summer heat perhaps. 191223
