Sample at SBWF 2017. Golden with a white head. Mild with citrus, hops, some bread and grass. Also some hints of apricot. Soft and easy to drink.

Hazy pale, thin head. Fresh, fruity hops and a light pale malt base. Dry, hoppy, light bready malts. A nice session IPA, has just enough character and some bright fruity hops.

Med Fridtjofen på slipp på Tau: flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, delt med skibsrederen. Lett uklar lys gylden med flott skum som varer. Fruktig og frisk (om enn noe parfymert) aroma og smak med aprikoser, fersken, granskudd, moltesyltetøy og andre godsaker. Elegant bitterhet, superlett kropp og balansekunst i lavvolt-segmentet. Nam.

Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen at Tau slipp og båtbyggeri 31.08.17. Translucent golden. Foamy, dense and persistent white head and lacing. Superb aroma and taste of American hops, citrus, marmalade, tropical fruits and pale malt. Full mouthfeel for only 4,3 % ABV. Excellently quaffable!

Bottle. Asda. Orange gold. A little hazy. Minimal head. Nose has sweet orange. Sugary malts. Some minty toffee. Taste is malty sweet and herbal, floral bitter. Mouthfeel is a bit sticky. Bitterness rises and lingers on the finish. Ok.

Bottle from Asda. Deep gold, with a short-lived white head and slight carbonation. Sweet malts, some sharp grapefruit, grassy hops and a dryish finish. Solid brewing.

Keg at the Flying Pig, Cambridge. Light yellow and clear with a bit of white head. Gentle grapefruit and apricot smell. Sweet fruity hoppy taste. Long fruity finish turning bitter with a touch of astringency. Fairly by-the-numbers sesh IPA but no less enjoyable because of it.
