0,33L bottle, bottled on 19.06.13. Pours clear copper with nice white head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is malt, caramel, resin, raisins, and fruits. Taste raisins, caramel, fruits, hops, alcohol. Finish is grapefruit bitterness with some sweetness. Overall: very nice DIPA.

Bottle from biernavi.de, bottled 19/06/13. Dark orange, slightly hazy body, with medium, creamy, white head. Delicious, thick, complex tropical fruit cocktail in the nose, with papaya, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, orange, grapefruit, some caramelic malt. Taste with about the same multifarious fruit notes, but maybe a bit less complex and with a well balanced malt backbone, with grass, caramel and biscuit. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a decent carbonation and finishes medium bitter, with complex fruit notes again and some grassy and bready notes. Amazing, complex, fruity and well balanced DIPA, that hides the high ABV very well and is dangerously easy to drink!

Bottle from Beers of Europe, drunk at home. Dark gold, hazy, almost orange, minimal carbonation and head. Heavenly aroma of honey, papaya, mango, sourdough and paper. Taste is initially balanced but the back-of-the-throat bitter takes over quickly. Syrupy mouthfeel, with a lingering mango flavour. It’s a joy to drink this incredibly well-crafted beer.

From a 33 cl bottle enjoyed with some smoked ribs. Pours a lead amber with an ecru head. Grassy nose. Flavors of tropical fruits with caramel and bitter hop goodness. Creamy mouthfeel. Mild bitter finish.

330ml bottle from Beermoth. Heavenly caramel / Amarillo aroma with a rich decadent blend merging orange, honey, citrus and casonnade. Sumptuous, intoxicating blend, marred just slightly by a tiny hint of vinegar on the finish.

Sweet and floral aroma. Amber hazy pour. Taste starts sweet and rich fruity, then dry hoppy bitterness. High alcohol not really apparent until the end. Very good double IPA.
