33cl Bottled shared at home. Pours a dark orange with little head and low carbonation. Aroma is lovely, all citrus and caramel. Too much of this sweetness comes over in the taste though, and the finish is surprisingly thin.

Deep hazy copper coloured body with a bright orange tint and a super thick, luscious seven centimetre tall tan head - nice! Aroma of alcohol, earth, caster sugar, grapefruit and a bunch of herbal notes with a touch of honey. Full-bodied; Strong assertive sweetness with a good lightish hop finish and a good malt backbone. Aftertaste is strong with honey, malt, alcohol and a light hop flavour. Overall, a nice imperial ipa with less emphasis on hops and more on sweetness and body. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 09-June-2012 for US$6.20 sampled at home in Washington on 11-May-2013.

Post-goût moyen-long et aux notes sèches, moyennement amer de houblon herbeux, légèrement fruité (agrumes et zestes, traces de fruits tropicaux) aux notes résineuses et citriques ainsi qu’avec un résiduel de malt sucré. hazy reddish-amber colour, minimal off-white head, which disappears quickly; fruity aroma of hops with some citrus and sweetness, too; taste of hoppy bitterness with fruity and citrus tones, significant malty sweetness and long lasting bittery-spicy aftertaste - excellent IPA (with a bit more malty notes than expected)

Bottle from Beernavigator. Bottled 10/12/12. Pours reddishamber, small offwhite head, slightly cloudy. When opened and poured a burst of amarillo scents comes out but they die rather fast. Left is a sweet fruty nose with peaches, honey and cloudberries. The taste is sweet and reveals that the hops have seen and said goodbye to their best days. It’s still nice, fruity, slightly oily and midbitter but there are also a little metal and a small tone of carbage.

Bottle at home, 17th march 2013. Had it at the recommend 10 degrees, this thing poured the biggest head, nothing I could do to avoid it, filled 3 glasses, horrible and wasteful and an issue I have found common in many de molen beers. Any way what wasn’t froth tasted ok, not Over pouring, fairly bitter and balanced, not my favourite though and I would not buy again.
