Bottle split at the last minute CBJ Tasting (big thanks Marcin for hosting), thanks to Kenneth for this one, 13/07/23. Black with a khaki cap that escapes to a swirl. Nose is mellow roast, nutty, chocolate, light coffee bean. Taste comprises charr, dark malts, spice, chocolate, mellow coffee, toffee, booze. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Okay sipper but lacking some depth for the high boost advertised ... would also have liked more coffee.

Can shared in London - cheers to Kenny. Pours oily black with a creamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour, big ashy roast character, booze, a little cocoa, woody dryness. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, further ashy roast, earth, raisins. Not bad.

Not the L6 bottleshare. Thanks to me for the can. Opaque dark brown beer, small darkish tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Boozy dark chocolate malts, thin on the mouthfeel. Rich coffee on the back end. Airy spicy finish. Drinks easy for the 16% but needs something to bring it all together. Thicker malts perhaps.

Can at home. Opaque pitch black color, full sized a bit rough dark brown colored head. Aroma is malts, dark and roasted malts. Don't get much more. Favor is malts, roast, alcohol, some sweet motes, maybe that comes from the blueberries? Yeah that could very well be. Well done I mist admit. Very good combination between the blueberries, coffee and roasted malts. High ABV but a very well done I must admit. I like this one but with its high ABV I normally wouldn't have opened it on my own. Nice though!

$6.79 pint can from Niemuth's, 6/17/20. Inky, oily dark brown, near black, with an impressively dark brown fizzy head. poor retention. Aroma of roast, berry, coffee. Taste is roast, berry, coffee, booze, chocolate, soy, vanilla. Full bodied and a bit boozy but impressively smooth for 16.2. This is dangerous shit and I will probably regret it tomorrow. Nice.
