A fine summer beer - crisp, clean, refreshing and hoppy. Pours a straw yellow colour with a rocky white head, with tropical hop aromas waft thickly out of the glass. The bright, peachy, juicy-fruit hop flavours marry nicely with the wheat malt. In terms of bitterness, it’s firm, but not so intense that it overwhelms the light wheat character.

(Bottle) Clear golden yellow with small white head. Lovely refreshing aroma of pine and citrus. Light bodied with bright carbonation. Foretaste, like the aroma, is refreshing tart fruity and this is sustained into the mid-palate but then it becomes rather watery, with a surprise bitterness developing in the finish, although rather harsh and not in harmony. Much more interesting than most Golden / Blonde beers, but a bit odd and unbalanced.

From a 330ml bottle on 19/10/2015. Pours a clear light golden with a very small head. Features a pleasant light aroma of passionfruit and melon. The flavour follows suit, with a modest amount of passionfruit, melon and peach, against a sweet bready malt background, followed by some gentle hops. Light bodied, with average carbonation. A reasonable if unexciting summer quaffer.

Bottle, 8C. Gold with a white head. Aroma of peach, mango, grass, wheat crackers. Moderately sweet with peach, mango and grapefruit. Clean and a bit empty in the middle, no tanginess from the wheat. Could have done with a bit more bitterness or been drier at the end for me - it’s been a hot day and I should fancy another of these but don’t. Nice hoppy aroma though.
