Can picked up from Beer Republic Webshop, Breda, Netherlands. Drinking this at home Friday 27th March 2020 (10th day of self isolating with Kostas living with us), listening to Aimee le Pop and cooking Schnitzel. Pours dark gold with a white head, woah this is a hop monster, despite being past the BBD it is still a hoppy beast. Thick in the mouth, sweet, malty (crystal malt) but pine, citrussy and really good bitterness.

From can to glass. Pours clear gold-copper with white head hat retains well. The CTZ seems to dominate here and the more aromatic hops don’t show up. Can date of 1.9.18, so maybe the hop aroma has receded some. A little cloying with retained sugars and a bitter spike at the end.

Lots of sharp grapefruit and some oak vibes like licking old furniture. Very bitter, astringent finish. A little booze. Hazy golden pour. Some caramel. Can.

Pint can pours with a crystal clear copper body that supports a nice off white head of foam. The aroma offers up an inviting blend of grapefruit, citrus pith, sweet smelling malts and pine hops. The taste delivers smooth malt sweetened hops that grow quickly into bitter pine, grapefruit and citrus pith. To midway the malts make way for a mild citrus juiciness. This comes together nicely. Pretty solid IIPA.
