Tap. Orange golden color, clear. Piny, resiny nose, orange and rich malt. Slightly thick and sweet and hugely resinous with pine and spruce. Not bad, bt I don’t like so much resin.

Tap at Imazto's Last Day. Clear orange in color with a thin beige head. Piney bitter aroma, the taste is spruce and pine, some malt sweetness. Well balanced but not as juicy as I expected. Simple but solid.

Crystal clear copper coloured body with a bronze glow and a thinnish, but noticeable two centimetre tall off-white head that fades to just a layer on top a few seconds later. Aroma of crisp citrus, light pine, a touch of resin, a lot of grass and hay and some mellow sweetness from peaches and apricots around. Medium-bodied; Very dry and assertive earthy malty flavours at first with a bigger dose of grain, toffee, biscuits and some resin shows though with a bit of grass also showing at the tail end - more of the hops than anything else, but a good balance, especially for the style. Aftertaste shows the dry and crisp hop flavours with a good deal of bitterness all around and ending with a dry and grainy flavour at the very end. Overall, a nice enough and balanced Imperial IPA that shows a lot of hoppy flavours and scents, early on that ends nice and dry, but without too much punch or pungency. I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 26-September-2017 for US$4,49 sampled at home in Washington on 29-October-2017.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a decent pine and melon hop. Flavor is again more pine and melon hop. Very little bitterness and no alcohol shows up. This is about as average as an Impy IPA can get. Decent hop profile but nothing that wows.

Tasting at Matt's; can
Hazy golden color. Very nice aroma, crisp malt and citrusy hops. The mouthfeel is very dry, the malt is a bit biscuity, spicy, the hop is resiny, and the bitterness in the final is somehow vegetable.

Can - Lemon and Mandarin citrus. Clear gold with a small white head. Big bitter citrus peel with a long bitter finish. A bit too bitter for me.

Little bit hazy, tan. Earthy bitterness, The hops are a bit cheesy. The malts aren't bad, a bit of crackery notes. This one's quite dry, though the hops aren't as bright as I'd prefer. I think it hits a pocket that on another day I might appreciate more.

500mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of spicy and earthy hops, some bitter pine, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour follows suit, with lots of earthy and spicy hops, some pine, and dry biscuity malt. Very earthy and spicy. Not the best hoppy beer from these guys, but it's not bad.
