Brewed with extra hops and malt in the English tradition, but with West Coast style. This deep golden India Pale Ale is artfully balanced with a fresh, powerful aroma and a luscious finish.

0.355l bottle @ CASK Pub & Kitchen, London. Finally! A long wanted whale for me this! When pouring it produces a massive and near everlasting light fluffy off-white head on top of a cloudy orange body packed with tons and tons of small grey particles. The aroma is as fruity as they come. Lot's of fruity hops with citrus and clear tones of pine. It smells really nice, and it just get's better and berry as it get's some temperature. Yeah, this is in a other league when it comes of flavor. Fantastic hoppy and bitter - almost in the dipa-land at times. Lot's of pine and citrus, strawberries and ripe peaches mixed with lemon, clementine zest, thin caramel and sweet apricots. My oh my this has lot's of flavor! A really great IPA, probably the best I've had in i don't know how long. 22.07.2012

Tap. Pours clear amber with a small off-white creamy head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is of grapefruit and flowers, with a bit of malt and cat urine. Taste is grapefruit, floral, pine with a bitter finish. No sign of the ABV in the taste. Very creamy and full bodied in the mouth. [tap at the Barrel House 09212012; inadvertantly rated again and gave it the same scores]

Hazy amber beer. Good persistent creamy white head. Smooth palate, semi soft and semi dry. Lovely rich hops nose - marmalade grapefruit and orange. A little aniseed. Caramel creamy malt base. Finishes dry with a lingering hop bitter aftertaste. Very drinkable.

Bottle @ Beer Temple Amsterdam. Very hazy medium orange color, large white head. Smells SO SO good! Super fruity and hoppy! Such a fruity taste as well and superbly hopped! Medium bitterness. Smell and taste citrus as well. Absolutely very well balanced: superb mix of hops, bitter, citrus and alcohol. Just great!

Dusky gold-amber liquid with a nice creamy head that leaves a good amount of lacing down the sides of the glass and a healthy cap on the beer. Caramel, biscuit for malt, and the hops are floral, herbal and somewhat citric. Good bitterness, good malt. It’s a tasty beer, but it’s really edging toward American IPA territory, rather than English. The hops are fairly dominant and there are very likely some American hops in the recipe. The malt has some English flavor, but it’s mostly overwhelmed by the hops. Relatively oily with hop essence. Not much alcohol presence. Bitter, nearly astringent, finish. Tastes like a mix of British and American hops, however it’s the British-leaning malt that really has me coming back for more.
