Poured from 473mL can (pkg 27/11/2025). Medium-dark brown with small light beige head. Earthy toasted nuts, clean brown ale. Prefer Deadfall Basal Brown slightly for a better balance in BC brown ales, but solid for the style.

On tap at Coast Mountain, pours an amber-tinged dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted bready malt and some nuttiness. Flavour is nicely toasted, with a bit of roastiness, earthiness, and bready malt. Toasty and bready with decent body for a brown. Good stuff.

Soft sweet malt on the nose has nice beige body with middling foam on top. Flavour is good chewy biscuit, hazelnut, wood notes. Mouthfeel is full and smooth. This is very nice, well rounded, an easy drinker.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown colour with tan head. Aroma of caramel, but earthy, so the flavour; also, roasted nuts; mild footy smell, kind of British Brown Ale; lean body, rather dry. Clean.
Ok Brown Ale.

Amber-brown. Thin head. Aroma has some caramel toffee sweetness. Similar palate. Has nice residual sweetness, with a decent nuttiness.
