We decided to brew a homage to the most delicious of hops. The plan was pretty straight forward: use a simple malt bill and let the Mosaic do the talking. The resulting beer is as the name implies; a kaleidoscopic journey through tropical flavours. Somehow, Mosaic finds a way to impart every delicious flavour you ask of hops, all on its own. Backed by a clean, light malt bill it's the beer equivalent of a fruit punch juice box.

Can, 7.0% ABV, 10C. Design looks more like baaarghfroom tiles than a mosaic, but that’s Adelaide for you. Or maybe that’s just me. Bright gold with a white head that is soon less than a coat. 3+ Aroma of grapefruit, mandarin, toast, lychees, pine, some hints of marijuana and spices. Sweet, clean and fruity with a stinging bitter finish. Needs that lick of caramel to stop it being a buzzsaw. This is no sophisticated guddling of the palate, just a blast. And that’s more than fine. 8383 16

Half pint on tap at New Sydney Hotel, Hobart. Nose of earthy hops and spice. Pale yellow beer with thin white head. Laces well. One or two lazy bubbles. Flat mouthfeel, full body. Finish is bitter, dry, and earthy. Really nice beer.

Tap at Beer DeLuxe, Federation Square, Melbourne. Poured a clear straw colour with a long lasting thin white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a crisp, fresh yeasty, tart grapefruit citrus, light spice, floral peppermint hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
