Bottle, huge thanks to Bobby (Kbhess84) for sharing on 2/5/16.
Soupy, bright orange, apricot puree appearance is topped by an apricot-flecked off-white head that shows low retention.
Jesus. De Garde does not F**K around with fruited beers. This is just pure, unadulterated, fresh, authentic, apricot goodness in a glass. Massive, massive nose, hugely sniffable with very light tannins and lactic character behind it, though definitely with the stress put on the apricot, as it should be. No alcohol, no flaws.
And in the flavor, just as with the last De Garde I had, after smelling the nose, I thought there was no way the beer couldn’t be a massively sweet, hugely fruity mess. But it’s not. Still dry and very well-attenuated, but with tight carbonation and delightfully bright, clean, perfectly extracted fruit flavors. Oak and acid join the mix and there’s a pleasant homogenity between the fruit acidity and the yeast/bacteria acidity. Deliciously lip-smacking to the very end.
I suppose I get the "It’s too one-sided with the fruit dominance" comments, but the sourness is still there, as is the oak and if you can’t appreciate fruit done this well, well, you shouldn’t be buying/drinking/rating fruit beers.

Bottle shared during RBWG. Pours cloudy gold with a slim white head. Tart apricot in the nose. Light sweet flavor with rich, true tart apricot character, moderate acidity. Light bodied with average carbonation. Cleansing tart finish, more juicy apricot. Solid stuff.

Bottle shared at the the rbwg 2016. Bright golden orange coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma. Is weird smoked socks, funk, apricot, peach, wet dog. Flavour is composed of tart bitter lemon, apricot. Peach, fynky, horse blanket. Tangy pineapple. Palate is tangy, citric acid, highish carbonation, not a huge fan.

Bottle thanks to souredonbeer. This is a pretty crazy beer. Pours mega cloudy, milky orange; its a glass of pulp free orange juice basically. Small sodalike fizzy white head dissipates quickly leaving minimal lacing. Aroma is HUGE apricot, sea air. Flavor is medium tart, huge apricot fruitiness again, quite a bit of salt. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Really an experience.

On tap at De Garde Quarterly. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is apricot juice and funk. Thin mouth tart apricot puree, light funk, oak, light salt, high acidity but not overpowering, really enjoyed this one.

750ml bottle thanks to Darrel. Pours out a cloudy orange juice color almost. Nose is like nectarine apricot juice lots of sweetness and a nice tart note. Taste is more of the sweet fruit apricot tart sour pucker. Taste this great.

On tap at De Garde, pours a golden orange - looks like apricot pure. Aroma smells like apricot pure - not much else - just potent and juicy. Flavour is fruity and jammy, but extremely acidic. Not much complexity. It's just apricot pure with loads of acidity. Not bad, but off the mark

Draft - Apricot purée. Solid orange gold. Vinegar apricot, acidity and a tart acidic finish. Salty finish, but way too much acidity.

On tap at the brewery. Best beer of the day I think. Pours a crazy cloudy orange color, a small white head. A big fruity apricot nose, sour, salty. The flavor is rich orange juice, apricots, salty, funky, sour woody base. Super drinkable. Lovely.
