Super crisp and clear amber coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall tan head that stays afloat nicely and for a long time. Aroma of super soft fruity notes with raspberries, strawberries, light yeast and bread, with some decent malt funk and soured components with a dry finish and a very complex aroma. Light to Medium-bodied; Some strong nutty and earthy notes show at first with a mild sweetness and yeastie quality while bringing out some bread and hay, but the end shows the odd strawberries and raspberry components that make this even more complex. Aftertaste is easy-going with a light malt and nutty bite, but the dry earthiness and rustic qualities give this a good complexity to go with some mild sugars and a solid malt profile. Overall, very nice to sample as this was the first I've ever seen of this and will probably try others from this brewery, should I be able to find them a bit more often, but this was a welcome addition to my beer tasting and great to get one from Patagonia without being down there first (i'll be there eventually). I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Jumbo [grocery] in central Santiago, Chile for CLP 1,830 on 09-August-2022 on my 13th wedding anniversary, sampled a day later at my hotel room here in Las Condes, Santiago, Chile on 10-August-2022.
