Aroma of soft fruity grains and some peach. Had a good foamy head and translucent brown body. Flavour is heavy grains, molasses, and dark syrup. Sweet finish, sugary. An okay barley wine.

J’ai bien apprécié ce vin d’orge qui pourrait être confondu avec une corpulente Double IPA. Le style est donc respecté mais de justesse... Il y a une forte présence de bons houblons et d’agrumes amers. Ça laisse une grande sécheresse en bouche. Verdict: bien bon!

A hazed golden amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light vinous notes, treacle, grassy British hops, piney and pungent. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light vinous notes piney hops, light mineral notes, rather British. Cask at La Cuvée d’hiver 2016.
